Story

Finca Churupampa is organized and run by the youngest generation of brothers from the Tocto Burmeo family. In addition to exporting coffee from their own farm, the Toctos provide export and marketing services to 215 neighboring farmers, using the farm to breathe life into the economic and social landscape of the previously impoverished Chirinos region.

While achieving this upturning throughout their home region, the Toctos have also kept the processing loop closed off to inorganic influences at each of their farms. Compost made from diverse flora abundant on the farm is mixed with "miel", or honey, from their fermentation tanks to create fertilizer pellets that help their crops retain water throughout the growing season.

This coffee is the first Regenerative Organic Certified coffee that we've been able to offer from a producer in Peru, one of our very favorite coffee growing countries, and we're proud to be sourcing it from the Tocto family.
